Dan
Klecko - DT - Temple - Sixth Round #178
Quoting Mark Godfrey-- "I like guys with great motors, heart, and that are relentless." Well, Dan Klecko is the poster boy in that category. With two selections in this round, Klecko is the type of situation guy that can give La'Roi Glover a breather in the defensive tackle rotation. At under six feet tall, Klecko's draft status is everywhere on the board. If two inches taller and over 300 pounds, he would be a first round selection. However, despite his production and pedigree, I believe he will slip until the late part of the draft simply because the tape measure and scale have replaced production on the field. And to be honest, Klecko does not appear to be an every down player. Thus, it's difficult to use a day one draft selection on Klecko. Nevertheless, with the loss of another high motor guy, Brandon Noble, the defensive line could use his energy. He just seems to be a "Bill Parcells Guy". Furthermore, when you think of Big East defensive tackles, the Miami Hurricanes quickly come to mind. However, it was Klecko that led the Big East in sacks (10). Additionally, he led the conference in tackles behind the line of scrimmage with 22 1/2. He also had 68 total tackles with 21 quarterback hurries and four forced fumbles.
"There are a lot of great players at Miami, Virginia Tech and Syracuse," said Pitt center Chad Reed. "But to me, the best defensive lineman in the Big East is Dan Klecko. He's relentless. He just keeps coming at you and plays with such intensity that you can't relax".

Seth
Wand - T - Northwest Missouri State - Sixth Round #186
Wand has the same agent, Alan Herman, as former small-school Dallas Cowboys offensive tackle Erik Williams. Wand had an impressive showing at the scouting combine, and would be the type of offensive tackle with upside that could grow into a quality player. The Cowboys signed Flozell Adams to a new $25 million contract, so the need at offensive tackle is obvious. Depth is critical, and the injuries along the offensive line last season led to a different lineup every week for the majority of the season.
While most of the players invited to the combine didn't run, lift, or do anything that might hurt their stock, Wand looked at the scouting combine as an opportunity to prove he belonged. He did just that. After his impressive showing at the Senior Bowl, this is a guy that has seen his draft stock soar, which may lift him beyond the reach of teams in the seventh round of the NFL Draft. Not only did he look the part, scouts reported he looked dominating against Division I competition. At 6' 7" and over 320 pounds, he has the size to compete at the NFL level and make the roster. I previously had Wand as a seventh-round selection, but I'm convinced he's more likely to go here if not sooner.
