He should go into the ROH the same day Romo does.

God I wish he was a coach for us.

Effing legit saddened he's gone. Absolutely loved that guy.

I hope our 6'5 rook gets some great mentorship from him somehow and he sees the standard that is expected of him. He's the TE I want on the field now.

Here is hoping that Rico is Gonzalez or Gates 2.0. I don't see him as much of a blocker, but hopefully a great receiver.

And Jason will bring a touch of class to an otherwise crap sports channel. :winkywink:

I have more faith in Dalton Schultz than Rico.

He's just better at football in general.

here's hoping he's the next Ditka/Novachek/Witten. The Cowboys have been blessed with some great ones at the TE spot.

I hope all the TEs give a great battle for the starting job. Rico in particular could be a nightmare in the passing game. I've been blessed to watch Billy Joe (Staubach), Doug (White), Jay (Troy), and Jason (Romo). Only one first rounder in the bunch. Who will it be for Prescott/Rush/White?

Hmmm..."J" names seem to dominate. James Hanna has retired. That leaves Blake Jarwin and the phonetically qualifying Geoff Swaim. A seventh rounder and an undrafted free agent. Hmmm....doesn't fit the pattern. I don't think the next perennial all-pro is on the roster yet, but fear not Cowboys fans. I just looked ahead and I do see a C.J. Conrad who is projected to go in rounds 2-4 in the 2019 draft. At 6'5" 250, 4.70 projected - He checks all the boxes! I think I'll pencil him in as one of our top three picks right now.
