Free agent possiblities after we resign some of our own.

Trying to just contain oneself until the game on Sunday with Packers. Thought I would start looking at FA even though Dallas more than likely will not make a splash of any kind. Actually on splash may be where Romo ends up and what we get for him of which most experts don't expect us to get more than a 4th conditional.

Top 25 2017 Unrestricted Free Agents
1) Le'Veon Bell, Pittsburgh Steelers running back: Steelers will franchise him or sign him long term. Dallas no interest.

2) Eric Berry, Kansas City Chiefs safety: Going to be tough call for Chiefs. Would like him but in Dallas, no way to much money.

3) Kirk Cousins, Washington Redskins quarterback: If Redskins don't resign him then no chance they compete next year. Dallas no interest.

4) Kawann Short, Carolina Panthers defensive tackle: Panthers already said either franchise or long term. Dallas no interest due to cost.

5) Chandler Jones, Arizona Cardinals outside linebacker: Cards said he is coming back, if not Dallas may have interest if he makes 2nd week of FA.

6) Alshon Jeffery, Chicago Bears wide receiver: Will Bears let him walk? What is his true cost? Could see Dallas with interest but contract says no.

7) Melvin Ingram, Los Angeles Chargers outside linebacker: Going to be interesting case and think Dallas would be interested in the 2nd week of FA.

8) Calais Campbell, Arizona Cardinals defensive end: Cards will let him walk. Dallas should be interested but not at big money.

9) Brandon Williams, Baltimore Ravens defensive tackle: Will resign with Ravens.

10) Jason Pierre-Paul, New York Giants defensive end: Wants a big contract, game changer, but big money isn't in the cards for Dallas on him.

11) Jamie Collins, Cleveland Browns outside linebacker: Potential game changer guy but believe he will be after 1st week of FA. Might be a guy to watch for Dallas and moving him to DE.

12) Kevin Zeitler, Cincinnati Bengals guard: He is said to be leaning toward Detroit, strange.

13) Stephon Gilmore, Buffalo Bills cornerback: Bills said he gets franchise tag. Would cost to much for Dallas anyway.

14) A.J. Bouye, Houston Texans cornerback: Texans will probably resign but would hope we resign Claiborne before this guy anyway.

15) Dont'a Hightower, New England Patriots linebacker: What will Bill do? Don't be Dallas would be interested.

16) Dontari Poe, Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle: Think Chiefs will resign or franchise but won't lie, he is pretty darn good.

17) Martellus Bennett, New England Patriots tight end: Pats can keep him, like what we have.

18) DeSean Jackson, Washington Redskins receiver: Said to be resigning with Eagles, seems he will. Dallas can get better without him.

19) Terrelle Pryor, Cleveland Browns receiver: Ok, yes, I would like Dallas to sign him if contract reasonable and said to be close with Zeke. He would be a great addition opposite Dez and dual threat at WR. Then we have 2 WR who could throw the ball.

20) T.J. Lang, Green Bay Packers guard: Packers will most likely resign. Dallas with Collins, Martin and Cooper are solid for years.

21) Nick Perry, Green Bay Packers outside linebacker: Underrated LB and nice SAM guy if we could get him at team cost.

22) Trumaine Johnson, Los Angeles Rams cornerback: Betting says he goes to Browns. Good luck there. Could see him not in the first 10 days of FA.

23) Tony Jefferson, Arizona Cardinals safety: Interesting case and really only fits certain schemes. Will be interesting to watch.

24) Ricky Wagner, Baltimore Ravens tackle: Ravens have a priority on him. Could be a great RT. Cost probably to high.

25) Barry Church, Dallas Cowboys safety: Believe he stays in Dallas under a contract that benefits Cowboys and him.

Other guys that Dallas may show interest if they hit the market.

Andrew Whitworth, T, Cincinnati Bengals: Could be a good RT if the price is right.
Brice Butler, WR, Dallas Cowboys: One of our priorities if price isn't to high
Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Minnesota Vikings: Former #1 pick and could be an upgrade to Whitehead plus speedy and great size.
Michael Floyd, WR, New England Patriots: Comes with baggage on the DUI but lots of talent at WR and could be worth a good look.
Kendall Wright, WR, Tennessee Titans: Former Baylor WR, good hands, sort of a T. Williams
Margus Hunt, DT, Cincinnati Bengals: A DL that clogs the running lanes.
Jack Crawford, DT, Dallas Cowboys: Boys might resign him right before training.
Vance Walker, DT, Denver Broncos: Interesting case although not sure he fits Marnelli scheme.
Dion Jordan, DE, Miami Dolphins: Former 1st round guy that needs a new start, has a motor, should be cheap.
Terrell McClain, DT, Dallas Cowboys: Dallas likes him, probably team friendly contract.
Devon Still, DT. Houston Texans: Always have liked him which probably means Dallas has no interest.
Tyson Alualu, DT, Jacksonville Jaguars: Could play DE and DT, might be interested if goes later in FA.
Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Cincinnati Bengals: Former 1st round much like Claiborne and seems to be understanding pro game better.
Morris Claiborne, CB, Dallas Cowboys: Thinking we sign him to a four year deal.
D.J. Hayden, CB, Oakland Raiders: Another former 1st round guy that for the right price may be a good deal.
J.J. Wilcox, S, Dallas Cowboys: Only see him back at vet minimum on a 1yr deal in Dallas.
Micah Hyde, S, Green Bay Packers: Has great potential if we don't resign Church.
Johnathan Cyprien, S, Jacksonville Jaguars: Young guy with potential, wonder if he fits.
Jeron Johnson, S, Seattle Seahawks: Pretty sure Seahawks resign but the kid has game.
Karl Klug, DE, Tennessee Titans: Could be a guy we hope to get at vet minimum or wait until after the draft.

RFA guys:
Josh Gordon, WR, Cleveland Browns: Browns not going to offer contract, should we try to sign another potential strike guy, great WR though.
Dominique Easley, DT, LA Rams: If Rams don't offer contract, I am all for bring him in right away.
