Free Agency and Realistic Costs

Post by sandyf » Tue Feb 06, 2018 8:58 am

So now is the time to speculate on free agency and what it will cost us.

First our own guys and market value for them.
Zack Martin RG - most likely a 5 year deal worth $65 million in total, structure will be mostly like Tyron Smith in order to rework yearly
DeMarcus Lawrence DE - again a 5 year deal around $70 million that include $30 million in guarantees, back loaded in salary
David Irving DT - will tender a second on him but if a contract offer probably a 5 year deal at around $40 million
L.P. Ladouceur LS - a five year contact for $6 million, maybe $7 million

These are probably the main ones although there will be others

Possible free agents we might sign
Bradley McDougald SS - 5 year deal for $15 million
Donte Moncrief WR - 3 year deal for $10 million
Cameron Fleming OT - 5 years deal for $20 million
Allen Robinson WR - possibly a one year prove it deal for $8 million or could be a 7 year deal for $70 million

Draft
Need around $6 million to sign the draft picks
