You MUST be referring to Mike Leach! I'm curious....do you think he was in the wrong, or do you think what he alledgedly did was OK?

I think it became a witch hunt.

They weren't pleased with him because of the contract stuff, so all they needed was anything to nail him.

I think he was wrong for not trying to work it out. We will probably never know the full details of what really happened. The places he had him "Locked Up", weren't closets or even small. I saw video of them.

I think this was blown way out of proportion. I also think that James wanted out. I would expect to see him transfer to SMU REAL SOON.

Hopefully we get a good coach to continue the path.

What size dark room would have been appropriate for him to be locked up in?

Was he really "locked up"? Who said? Did he really not let him sit? Who said? Exactly.

Wow, these panzies would get super butt-hurt going to any Combat Skills Training.

The POW exercises where they lock you in a "coffin" for a while is no picnic either. Rou mean a dark room? Well, I'd just take a nap or something... Did they take away his Cell phone? Prolly not.

Well the idea of "locked up" seems to be up for interpretation. There was a trainer with him, so I'm not real sure what the big deal is with that.

It's quirky for sure, but not a fire-able offense in my opinion.

I can see both sides. From all accounts, it seems like Adam James was a cocky kid and Craig James was a little overbearing. However, as a school administrator in charge of overseeing the safety and best interests of over 1,000 students, I feel Leach should have used better judgement. He knew exactly what he was doing when he put James in that shed - he was trying to prove the point that HE was in charge. He can spin it any way he wants. But if he truly was concerned for James' safety, he could have sent him to the locker room, training room, or even home to rest. And that's all I have to say about that.

You're right about that too Tom. The whole situation is just kinda weird.

And how about those Gators last night? I am not a fan, but wow that was just a demolition!

Yes, send the kid to the training room like every coach in America does.
Not a shed.

This was a really dumb move and it allowed Texas Tech to remove Leach.

With what was going on with Mangino and Leavitt he had to have a clue what would happen...............or he wanted it. No one is dumb enough to believe this was appropriate.

The "he's just mad about his playing time" argument that came from the Tech staff is beyond weak.

Spoiled brat.....yes.....dad making phone calls on his behalf.......sure.

Only way the shed was appropriate was if it was common practice for players with similar injuries.

Other than that.....you singled him out and you were begging to get fired.
