McGahee went at 23 after his injury, but he was a beast getting back into form. We don't know how things will fall.

I'd imagine we'd bring about 5 of these guys in for a visit.

If Todd Gurly drops in the @nfl Draft and goes to the @dallascowboys he will win Rookie of the Year or the Decade. #Primesaidit1st #Truth

Running back T.J. Yeldon (6-1 1/2, 220) ran the 40-yard dash in 4.52 and 4.53 seconds. He stood on the rest of his numbers from the combine. There were four running backs coaches at Alabama's pro day working out Yeldon, who caught the ball really well coming out of the backfield.
All 32 teams were there.

I'm not drafting an Alabama runner.....Lacy has been it.

Nick runs the juice out of those guys.

Tevin Coleman.....vs Ohio State....2014

29 carries

228 yards

8.4 yards per carry

3 Touchdowns

Melvin Gordon vs Ohio State....2014

26 carries

76 yards

2.9 per carry

0 Touchdowns.

WHO do you think had the better line?????

To me...it's not close.

You have to be carefull what type of RB we add. Murray was big and physical and although he did not have many long TD runs he kept getting positive yards and eat the clock which allowed us to dominate time of possession.

They say Coleman is actually the most like Murray of the top drAft choices.

Guys like Ryan Williams or CJ Spiller won't work in the Murray roll. Too small to take the pounding.
They would be fine as part of a committee if we end up going that route.

"I've been the underdog my whole career,'' said Langford, who rushed for 1,522 yards last season and closed his career with 16 straight efforts of 100 yards or more rushing against Big Ten teams.

The thing that bothers me about Lankford....is his work-load.

Haven't looked at his number of career carries...but D'Antonio runs the hell out of his Tailbacks.

Same for Gordon too. Ton of carries.

Yes...OVER 600....Gurley doesn't have that many....but he's got some warts that some others don't have.

So, do we double up with another big back now?
