A Player Is Considered A Local Prospect If He Went To High School Or College In
The Dallas/Fort-Worth Area, He Was Born There Or His Parents Live There. That DFW Area Is Defined As An Imaginary
Square Stretching From Sanctuary In The West To Princeton In The East, And From Prosper In The North
To Glenn Heights In The South.

"He's a humble kid," notes Brown. "He's a very intelligent kid. He talks about a lot of things other than football. He's interested in a lot of things other than football. But he wants to be the greatest to put on pads, so I'm going to help him get there."

If you were wondering about the future of Dallas Day, starting in 2017, when the Cowboys move to their new digs in Frisco, Texas, don’t. The change in mailing address from Irving to Frisco will not change the Rand McNally atlas used to determine which locals can and cannot work out for teams leading up to the draft. Dallas Day is what the Cowboys call their workouts of players who played their high school or college ball in the metroplex area. There has long been this 75-mile radius myth out there, but it remains just that, a myth. If the myth was reality, then the move to Frisco would have cut out parts of the metroplex.
