I love the player. Was actually hoping we took him with Comp pick in 4th rd. Great story if he can recover from injury.

This team just has too many holes/needs on the Def Line to pass up all the talent that was staring us in the face.

Jaguars just took Myles Jack.

I guess we took Jaylon Smith at just the right time.

How good is Jacksonville's draft ..... Jalen Ramsey and Myles Jack, WOW !!!

I'm not in love with Smith simply because I'm impatient and I want to see an immediate starter. This better pay off in the long run because we passed on a TON of great DT's.

The plan is to keep our offense on the field, that is what improves the defense. Worked perfectly in 2014. We still have many more picks to get more defense. Be mad if you want, but this pick gave a us an absolutely DOMINANT LB....albeit next year.

John , respect you brother but that is totally a golden domer homer comment.
We needed starters in that round.
Remember the last super athletic LB we drafted in rd 2 who we knew would miss a year.
Carter , how'd that go.

Top of second round is like a first - this guy might not ever play again - this draft is EXACTLY why this friggin team has not won a super bowl in 20 years

Does JJ always have to make a splash? Does he always have to crave the attention? SO many solid guys they could have picked and plugged in for next 4 years but we have to get cute and out think everyone else.

JJ IS A JOKE

While I agree comparing Smith to Carter isn't fair, Carter wasn't ever tagged as a top 5 pick

Maybe they know something about Jaylon Smith's knee that we don't?
Now all we need is another pass rusher.

Let me put it this way. I would swap picks with any team,s selection in the second round so far.
Last year we take a known pot addict and this year a great LB who won't take the field.
They are so obsessed with hitting a homerun gamble they fail to build a team.
They should play fantasy football because they sure as heck can't run a pro football team.

Sorry for the rant but I am flat out angry.

This all goes back to our stupid GM how always tries to prove he is the smartest guy in the room - except everyone else is laughing at him behind his back. I am beyond pissed. What a complete joke of an organization.
