this picks screws so m uch up - instead of grabbing a guy on the DL who will actually play - they take smith who might never play. Now in the 3rd if Dak is sitting there - do u pass on him to take defense which you ignored with first 2 picks or do you take your QB and go another round without getting help for the lousy defense.

Cowboys have drafted extremely well the last few years, but they always do something hokey in the 2nd round. I'll wait to form an opinion on this pick. If he becomes a probowl LB, it was well worth a 1 year wait. Dallas is more than 1 year away from a Super Bowl.
Now all we need is another pass rusher.

Dak is garbage. I see no point in drafting a QB this year. You either get a top QB or you wait til next year. These mid round QBs draft picks have never given us anything.

Heck I'm all in on a QB now. We evidently don't need defensive help this year.

Elliot is going to play both ways, DE/RB

Smith will play in 2017, there is no doubt. Sorry you guys are pissed. They wanted the two DE that went right before them....so they took Jaylon. You guys act like this team is garbage. We were one play from going to the NFC championship two years ago coming in with the worst defense in the league. Last year, no Romo...no nothing. I bet they are thinking no DE was worth it after Dodd and Ogbah.

And no, I do not want a QB this year after Lynch was taken from us. Lets just go defense for rest of draft and see what happens.

so do you expect Rod to coach up this putrid defense? Whats the over/under before Lee gets his first concussion? Who exactly will be playing DE, especially the first 4 games? Did Mo take a magic potion to suddenly become the player everyone thought he was going to be? Who is out 2nd WR because Terrance Williams SUCKS! But yeah we got 3 RBs and the best Oline in the game

Oh, I like the Smith pick, his interview said he believes he will play in 2016

Well it wasn't a tight end they won't ever use. Hopefully that knee is OK. When is the last time we hit on a 2nd rounder? We should just trade away the next 3 for a 1st rounder. I'm not opposed to the pick I just hope that nerve fires again. They really like to gamble with those 2nd rounders

certainly don't think the sky is falling but when Spence is racking up 10 sacks and we are praying that Smith can play in 2017, it wont be fun....
