Time for another try, Feb 21st 2018

Still a week before the combine and rumors are flying as usual so lets see what could happen.

Free agency is but 21 days away finally so this is what I suspect wll/could happen based on how Dallas approaches free agency.
DeMarcus Lawrence DE resigns for $85 million for 5 years, hoping it is lower but suspect going to be close to that amount.
Zach Martin RG extended for $70 million for 5 years.
L.P. Ladouceur LS resigns for $8 million for 5 years.
Keith Smith FB signed for $7 million for 5 years.
Bradley Dougald S signed for $20 million for 5 years.
Donte Moncrief WR signed for $3 million a year make or break.
Joe Looney OG signed for $6 million for two years.
Jonathan Cooper OG signed for $2 million one year if injury okay

Cleveland signs Kirk Cousin QB in free agency for $150 million and $100 million in guarantees.

Colts sign David Irving DT giving Dallas #36 in the draft.

Trade Dez Bryant WR, James Hanna TE, and Orlando Scandrick CB to Cleveland for Josh Gordon WR and #35 pick after Bryant refuse to either take a pay cut or rework his contract. Gordon is a RFA but Cleveland may be willing to trade to not risk possible suspension. As a one year make or break guy, he would be worth the risk.

During the Draft.
With all the picks Dallas rated as 1st round prospects gone Dallas trades down with the Steelers giving up #19 for #28 and #60.
#28 Rashaan Evans LB Alabama - can play all 3 spots, great run stuffer
#35 Ronnie Harrison SS Alabama - 2nd best SS in the draft
#36 Will Hernandez LG UTEP - powerful run blocker who will improve the line play
#50 Leighton Vander Esch LB Boise St. - could be Lee's replacement in a year
#60 D.J. Chark WR LSU - replacement for Terrance Williams or if Moncrief or Gordon do not work out, great speed
#81 Kemoko Turay DE Rutgers - has a big upside
#118 Brandon Parker OT North Carolina A&T - should become a very good swing OT, possible a RT
#133 Nathan Shepherd DT Fort Hayes St. - some scouts rate him as good as Payne
#135 Kameron Kelly CB San Diego St. - big corner with good skills
#177 Akrum Wadley RB Iowa - speed back, good compliment
#178 Dalton Schultz TE Stanford - lots of Witten comparisons
#196 Kendal Vickers DT Tennessee - steady 3tech
#229 Oren Burks LB Vanderbilt - good steady LB

If Shephard actually is as good as Payne I'll take this draft.
