Fred Jackson anyone?

If it's related to NFL teams other than the Dallas Cowboys, it belongs here.

Fred Jackson anyone?

Post by CanadaBruce » Mon Aug 31, 2015 11:42 am

Im not sure if Id do it over McFadden after what he's shown in preseason "when healthy"

but Jackson is certainly a better option than any other RB that has been out there to date........

I'd take him in a heartbeat. Doubt the Boys do it, though.

Rumors flying that Seattle signed Jackson to allow them to trade Christian Michaels to Dallas.
Only a rumor at this point.

A native of Beaumont, Texas, Michael attended West Brook Senior High School in Beaumont, and played high school football for the West Brook Bruins. Considered a five-star recruit by Rivals.com, Michael was listed the No. 3 running back prospect in the nation (behind Hall Trophy winner and fellow U.S. Army All-American Bryce Brown and Alabama's Trent Richardson)

Michael accepted an athletic scholarship to attend Texas A&M University, where he played for the Texas A&M Aggies football team from 2009 to 2012. In 2009, after posting 844 total rushing yards on 166 carries, Michael received Offensive Freshman of the Year honors from the Big 12 Conference.

Michael was selected in the second round, with the 62nd overall pick, by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2013 NFL Draft.

Michael's first name, which is unusual for a male, is pronounced chris-TIN /krɪsˈtɪn/. His mother told him that she first thought the child to be a girl and so she chose the name before she knew the baby's sex;

This Kid might just be a great pick up.....

Who goes?

4 RBs? and a FB? doesn't seem likely,

although 4-WRs wouldn't surprise me and 4 RBs, and 4 TE, Escobar playing some slot WR......

Stephen King says Michael's first name isn't Christian.

I'd be a fan for that trade. I'm not sold on Dunbar (though he is a core special teamed making him difficult to cut). I worry that we won't have another back if McFadden gets hurt to help carry the load. However, I don't think this is going to happen.

1. It seems as though Dallas is confident in the backs it currently has.

2. Why would Seattle trade a RB and make Dallas better.

Seattle is probably after an offensive lineman as their O-line is purportedly in disarray right now after Max Unger's trade.

Read several stories on how they are shuffling the line.

For the youngsters, Stephen King wrote the horror novel "Christine." It was also a movie. I tried to post an image but after ? years I still can't figure it out.
