Redmond could be a second round steal, if he can overcome anterior cruciate ligament woes that sidelined him the second half of the 2015 schedule. Prior to his injury, the MSU product was making a rapid move into the mid first round region. He’s a strong corner who can play outside or come up with the big hits at the nickel slot or either safety position.

Redmond is very strong in man coverage. He has quick, active hands to provide an initial pop to the receiver in press coverage, along with very quick feet and loose hips for the transition to run downfield. He demonstrates outstanding balance and body control to mirror the receiver and can plant his foot in the ground and explode out of cuts.

"He's a humble kid," notes Brown. "He's a very intelligent kid. He talks about a lot of things other than football. He's interested in a lot of things other than football. But he wants to be the greatest to put on pads, so I'm going to help him get there."

Super quick feet…love his ability to redirect/change of direction…he can stop on a dime, cut and sprint immediately in another direction…didn’t start last year at cornerback but got a ton of playing time at corner or nickel…quick to react to run and make tackles at or behind the LOS… excellent turn and go…can play off coverage and turn and run with receivers

At one point, some regarded Redmond as potentially the top senior cornerback in this class. But in October, he tore his ACL and was unable to perform at the Reese’s Senior Bowl.

Cornerback Will Redmond -- 5-11, 182 -- is still recovering from a torn ACL suffered in October, and wasn't able to work out at either the combine or pro day. He is, however, hoping to work out for teams on April 18.
